For 50 years, The Centre, Livingston has been part of everyday life in the local community, from first shopping trips and family traditions to milestone moments and celebrations.
Where it all began
In 1976, the first phase of The Centre, Livingston, then Almondvale Shopping Centre, opened its doors for the very first time. What began as a new shopping destination in the heart of a growing town quickly became part of everyday life for the local community.
Growing up together
For generations of families, The Centre has played a part in life’s biggest milestones and day-to-day routines, from back-to-school shopping trips and birthday treats to graduation looks and finding thoughtful gifts for loved ones.
The next chapter
As The Centre celebrates 50 years, it’s a chance to look back at how far it has come, thank the community that made it possible, and look ahead to many more moments together.
