The Centre, Livingston is set to welcome local stylist and colour analysis expert, Leigh Maybury to the shopping centre on Sunday, 28th September at 12 – 4pm, to host an Autumn/Winter fashion event, with colour analysis sessions, to help raise funds for its charity partner, Children’s Hospices Across Scotland, (CHAS).
It follows on from the success of previous fashion events, including the Spring/Summer event which helped raise funds for the local charity, Breast Friends and Family.
On the day shoppers will have the opportunity to get insights from Leigh into the latest trends for the season, which includes suede, faux fur and velvet, and also colour tips, with burgundy, red and brown being the popular choices this year.
Leigh, who is the founder of ‘Life with Style’ consultancy, qualifying at the London College of Style, is also a trained colour expert who specialises in assessing which shades of clothes best suit your natural skin tones, hair and eyes, to help boost your confidence with a more cohesive look.
The style event is free, however all one-to-one, 15-minute express colour analysis sessions, which can be booked on the day on a first-come, first served basis, will cost £10 per person, with all funds going to CHAS.
The charity, which provides the only hospice services in Scotland for children with life-shortening conditions and support for families, including respites and counselling, has just been announced as the shopping centre’s new Christmas Charity Partner.
Boots Beauty Specialists will also be offering free make up and skincare advice between 2 – 3pm and six lucky shoppers will also be in with a chance of being presented with a £25 Gift Card, courtesy of The Centre, Livingston to treat themselves.
