Celtic Football Club is currently seeking a Store Manager to work within the Livingston store. Reporting to the Area Manager, this role is responsible for the efficient running of the Livingston store retail unit, in line with the requirements of the organisation.
Key accountabilities will include:
• Responsible for the day to day running of the store
• Contributes to the profitable operation of the store
• Ensures that high housekeeping standards are instituted and maintained
• Ensures the planning and management of the store wage budget
• Ensures strict control of all company monies, stock and relevant documentation
• Ensures the control of all variable costs within the store
• Maintain accurate control of all incoming and outgoing goods
• Ensures the security of all merchandise and that any shrinkage is kept to a minimum
• Ensures all displays are merchandised to a high standard, are rotated in line with current sales stock
• Ensure all stock lines are on the sales floor and are available in all sizes
• Maximise the profitability of the unit through good customer service and increased sales
• Ensure the on-going training, development and motivation of staff within the store
• Liaise with the Area Manager as required
• Ensures compliance with all Health and Safety legislation and Fire regulations
• Undertakes other such duties which arise with familiarity and development of the job
Skills and Experience required:
• Experience working within a Retail environment in a management role
Additional requirements;
• Ability to work flexibly over 7 days, including weekends, evenings and match days
