Our House Keeping team are continuously on-hand to ensure The Centre is kept pristine. We have a large team of Customer Service Advisors on patrol, a 24 hour CCTV system in operation and fully trained first aiders ready to help out when required.
DISABLED PARKING AND ACCESS
The Centre has 72 disabled parking spaces located at Car Park 1 ground level and 35 spaces at Car park 2. All entrances to The Centre have disabled access.
There are 7,200 car parking spaces available for customer parking around Livingston town centre. The Centre Car parks 1 and 2 are paid for car parks, managed for Savills by APCOA who employ dedicated attendants when required. The car park operating times are 8am until 12 midnight, 7 days a week. All our car parks have been awarded the Park Mark Award.
CARERS CAR PARKING FACILITIES
We are committed to making our facilities as accessible as possible and a purpose-built unit for Shopmobility in The Centre Car Park 1 was created as part of the extension. Charges do apply for disabled badge holders, which is common in the majority of commercial car parks. Apoca monitors the designated disabled and parent and child spaces, ensuring they remain available for those who need them most. We have also installed a designated Dial-a-Ride bus stop. We appreciate that accessibility also needs to be taken into account for carers, as parking and visiting the shops takes longer when helping a disabled relative or friend. With that in mind, in conjunction with Carers of West Lothian, a card scheme is available entitling carers to a reduced rate.
